Equine Behaviorist

Welcome to Cindy Attar Equine Reset Services

Behavioral Reset Services

Some horses (and mules) aren’t “bad”—they are misunderstood, overwhelmed, uncomfortable, or shut down. I work with horses who may be:

  • Hard to catch, halter, or lacking in basic ground manners
  • Resistant or avoidant
  • Anxious or easily over-reactive
  • Pushy, nippy, or difficult to handle
  • Sensitive horses that have shut down or disconnected
  • Those horses who should be fine, but aren't
  • Displaying other unwanted behavioral and/or trust issues

After 30-60 days in the Reset Program, owners often report a complete shift in their horse’s attitude—from reactive or resistant to calm, willing, and safer to be around.

This Reset program is ideal for owners who are open to understanding their horse in a new way—learning to listen, respond, and build connection without force, fear, or pain. It’s designed for those owners committed to supporting meaningful, lasting change in a mutually beneficial partnership.

30 Day Behavioral Reset Program

Your horse will live on a structured 5-acre track system designed to support both physical and emotional well-being. This environment provides freedom of movement, a healthy and natural lifestyle, access to free-choice minerals, and the ability to interact with other horses. Scratching posts and in/out element cover are also comfort-based. Alongside this, your horse receives focused, one-on-one attention from a human who truly listens. This combination of space, freedom, and thoughtful guidance allows your horse the opportunity to reset and come back to their true selves.

Week One: Decompression

  • Horses are introduced to Cindy’s Happy Horse Track of 5 acres.
  • Horse settles in as Cindy assesses all aspects of the horse and behavioral issues that owner has concerns.
  • Physical issues are assessed and identified.
  • A game plan is established for the 30 Day Program.
  • Cindy begins trust and confidence-building program.

Week Two & Three: Reset

  • Continue on building trust and confidence by listening to the horse’s needs and wants.
  • Focus on overcoming owner’s list of concerns.
  • Watch for signs of behavioral shifting.
  • Frequent owner feedback.

Week Four: Prepare to Exit

  • Continue program as needed to reach goals.
  • Assess what has changed and where the horse needs more work.
  • Prepare horse and owner to leave or to extend the stay.
  • Cindy gives the owner a full and complete session prior to end of program.
